This is the coolest thing ever!. Who knew you could combine my two loves knitting and baking?

The dog camp we visited takes in rescues and has their own Pet Finder page. You can go here to see all the dogs. I personally remember Lucy and she is a very sweet dog.

It is the most delicious ice cream I have made and one of the tastiest ice creams I have ever tasted.

Caramel Chocolate Pecan Ice Cream recipe here. I used a Skor bar instead of the Lindt truffles and it was mighty tasty.

It's a vegan recipe, but I didn't have soy milk so I used lactose-free milk instead and it turned out fine. I also reduced the sugar by half a cup which makes a nice not too sweet cookie. Did I mention that these cookies are delicious?

My boyfriend almost didn't want to carve the pumpkins this year. I look forward to them every year, so I suggested that he should do Wallace and Gromit which he thought was a great idea.

Richard finished carving his first pumpkin using the Speedball stamp carving tools I lent him. He's going to deepen the grooves to give it a better contrast and I guess on Saturday or late Friday he'll be doing a Spiderman one too to match.
